A Christian retreat for midwives set in the Scottish Highlands coming in 2027.

There is a unique weight that comes with walking alongside women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. It is holy work - beautiful, demanding, and deeply sacred. Yet those who spend their lives pouring into others also need space to be poured into.
The Midwives' Hearth is an invitation to step away from the demands of practice and into the quiet beauty of the Scottish Highlands. It is a place to slow down, rest deeply, and gather with Christian midwives around a hearth of faith, friendship, and calling.
Like the hearths of old Scotland, where stories were shared, wisdom was passed from one generation to another, and weary travellers found warmth and welcome, this retreat is a place of belonging.
Our 2027 theme is: Return to the Well, based on John 4... "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst." -John 4:13-14
And like the woman at the well, we come to meet Christ again- to return to the One who alone satisfies the thirsty soul.
